In 2015, Mitchell made a last-lap pass to earn his second career ARCA win.

“I still remember taking the checkered flag like it was yesterday,” stated Mitchell. “We worked all race long to make the right adjustments and we put ourselves in an excellent position for the final restart. It was the hardest I’ve ever driven in my life. Victory lane was electric. We will have a lot of friends, family and sponsors in the stands Friday evening.

The win would be extra sweet as Mitchell will celebrate his 30th birthday on June 25th. Mitchell returned to ARCA in April racing at Kevin Harvick’s Kern Raceway after a nearly six-year hiatus from the series finishing 18th.
