I feel this old saying does not apply to motocross. Instead I feel it’s like riding a skateboard. A bike you can hop on and cruise just fine. A skateboard you have to get your “sea legs” or else that thing will slide right out from under you.
First day back today at a track and I found myself hanging on with a death grip and swollen forearms. I couldn’t wipe the smile off my face.
I slowly started to remember to squeeze the bike with my knees and relax. I door knobbed the throttle to help subdue the arm pump. I’ve got a lot of catching up to do after being off the bike for a year.
It’s alright tho because the process starts again and I’ve got great people in my corner
Shoutout to @mesquitemoto for the awesome prep
